Promotion: Midwest Auto Sweepstakes Giveaway (“Promotion”)
Eligible Jurisdictions: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 47 U.S. states excluding New York, Florida, and Rhode Island. Residents of Hawaii may participate but are eligible only for the cash prize equivalent of the advertised vehicle. Residents of U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and other possessions, are not eligible.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICIAL RULES
1.A. Participation in the Promotion through the Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”) constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to be bound by the Official Rules and by Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all respects.
1.A.i. The entrant acknowledges that participation in the Promotion is voluntary.
1.A.ii. The entrant agrees that Sponsor’s decisions regarding the Promotion are final and binding.
1.B. The AMOE is provided to ensure a free method of entry and does not alter the nature of the Promotion as a sweepstakes.
1.B.i. AMOE entries are treated equally with all other eligible entries submitted during a Round.
1.C. In the event of any conflict between this AMOE section and the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall control.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
2.A. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
2.A.i. A purchase will not improve an entrant’s chances of winning.
2.B. Entries submitted via AMOE have the same odds of winning per entry as any other eligible entry submitted during the applicable Round.
3. ELIGIBILITY FOR AMOE ENTRY
3.A. AMOE entry is open only to individuals who meet all eligibility requirements set forth in the Official Rules.
3.A.i. Eligibility is determined at the time of entry.
3.B. Entrants must be legal residents of an Eligible Jurisdiction and must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater.
3.B.i. Proof of eligibility may be required.
3.C. Residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island are not eligible to enter by any method, including AMOE.
3.D. Residents of Hawaii may enter via AMOE but are eligible only for the cash equivalent of the advertised vehicle prize.
4. AMOE ENTRY METHOD — MAIL-IN ONLY
4.A. The sole Alternate Method of Entry is entry by mail.
4.A.i. No other method of free entry is available.
4.B. Online submissions, electronic requests, automated systems, scripts, or digital forms are not accepted as AMOE entries.
5. HOW TO ENTER BY MAIL (AMOE)
5.A. During an active promotional round (“Round”), an eligible participant may enter by mail by legibly handwriting all required entrant information on a plain sheet of paper.
5.A.i. Entries must be handwritten by the entrant.
5.B. Required entrant information consists of the entrant’s full legal name, complete residential mailing address, city, state, ZIP code, email address, phone number, and date of birth.
5.B.i. Incomplete entries will be void.
5.C. The completed mail-in entry must be placed inside a standard envelope and mailed to the AMOE mailing address for the applicable Round. The mailing address for each Round is disclosed in the Round Addendum, which is specific to that Round and is available on the Current Sweepstakes page of the Sponsor’s Website, during an active Round.
5.D. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the final day of the applicable Round in order to be eligible.
5.D.i. Entries postmarked after the final day of the applicable Round will not be accepted or entered into the drawing.
6. AMOE ENTRY LIMITS
6.A. Mail-in AMOE entries are not subject to daily or weekly limits, but remain subject to the maximum entry cap per Round, subject to the overall entry cap described herein.
6.A.i. No daily or weekly limits apply to AMOE entries.
6.B. Each participant may submit a maximum of three thousand (3,000) total entries per Round, inclusive of all entry methods.
6.C. Any entries received in excess of the maximum entry limit per participant per Round will be void and will not increase the participant’s chances of winning.
7. AMOE ENTRY CONDITIONS
7.A. All mail-in entries must be complete, accurate, legible, and truthful.
7.A.i. Entries containing false information are void.
7.B. Entries that are automated, duplicated, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, fraudulent, or submitted using false information are void.
7.C. Mail-in entries submitted from non-eligible jurisdictions, including New York, Florida, or Rhode Island, will not be accepted.
7.D. Entries are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the Promotion.
8. ODDS OF WINNING
8.A. Each valid AMOE entry has the same odds of winning per entry as any other eligible entry submitted during the applicable Round.
8.B. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Round.
9. VERIFICATION AND DISQUALIFICATION
9.A. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility, identity, and compliance of any AMOE entrant at any time.
9.A.i. Verification may include documentation requests.
9.B. Sponsor may disqualify any AMOE entry or entrant that Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, does not comply with the Official Rules or this AMOE section.
9.C. Any attempt to circumvent entry limits or submit entries using multiple identities, addresses, or methods may result in disqualification of all entries.
10. WINNER SELECTION AND PRIZES
10.A. AMOE entries are included in the same random drawing as all other eligible entries received during the applicable Round.
10.B. One (1) prize will be awarded per Round, as described in the Official Rules.
10.C. Residents of Hawaii who are selected as winners will receive the cash equivalent of the vehicle prize.
11. OFFICIAL RULES GOVERN
11.A. The Official Rules govern all aspects of the Promotion, including eligibility, entry limits, winner selection, prize awards, taxes, and dispute resolution.
11.B. This AMOE section is incorporated by reference into the Official Rules.
11.C. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings assigned in the Official Rules.
11.D. For AMOE entrants who paid nothing, Sponsor’s liability is limited to actual, reasonable, and documented out-of-pocket costs incurred solely to submit a mail-in entry, such as postage and materials, and shall not exceed the value of one (1) merchandise item, as set forth in the Official Rules.
